Chef Still Life – 10″ x 10″ Watercolor

YAY!  A new painting!  It’s been a while since I posted anything new so I’m excited.  Saturday I got up early and painted this still life from KreativeK’s WetCanvas references.  I normally don’t paint still lifes but this one called out to me.  I had so much fun!!  It’s big for me too!!  I rarely go this big.  I painted three paintings Saturday morning so I have more to share this week.  🙂

About William Connor Magee

British prelate William Connor Magee was known as the Militant Bishop for his forceful speaking style, though he always worked for peace. He was born in 1821 in Ireland. Extremely bright, he enrolled in Trinity College at age 13. Ordained to a curacy at St. Thomas’s, Dublin, his fame as a speaker took him all the way to the powerful Archbishop of York. He spoke several times in the House of Lords, arguing against the dissolution of the Irish Church and against national temperance laws. He died in 1891.

I really enjoy cooking and grilling, especially something new that I’ve never made before. It’s great to see that your getting time and enjoyment to paint again. Very cool painting!

Thanks, Ryan! I love to cook, too! I especially love baking, but I don’t do much of that because it’s fattening. 🙂 I did enjoy getting to paint Saturday!

OMG!!!!Jumping up and down and chuckling and absolutely bowled over by this. I don’t enjoy still lifes so this is an eye-opener because I “LOVE” this one! I also hate to cook, other than something EASY…. This is fun, contemporary and full of color, Beth. I am excited to see the others. This rocks!!!!

WOW!! Now I’m jumping up and down from your comment! he he The others are not so grand, but I had fun painting. I woke up ready to study and thought I’d slip into the studio for a bit first. Next thing I knew, hours had flown by. It was a long overdue painting day. 😀

Thanks so much for this wonderful comment, Leslie!! I’m grinning ear to ear!
