Rusty Old Truck
.
I painted this from a reference photo by Skappy at WetCanvas. I left the background empty on purpose, so I could do this…. 😀

That is so cool! Did you photoshop it in? That old truck could appear anywhere, like Eufala postcards, too?

Thanks, Leslie! Yes, that was Photoshop. I just made a transparent layer with the truck on it. But, since I had grass under the tires, I tried to find something with grass in the foreground. Most of my Eufaula paintings have pavement. I’ll have to find some of my car paintings that don’t have grass… 🙂

LOVE the rust on the truck. What colors did you use. Love the truck in the park. Very lush greenery.

Thanks, Carol! What colors? Hmmmm, orange, green, red, blue…. it’s just by feel and no real system. I just have fun, I think the truck was blue in it’s day. 🙂
