Wacky Longhorn

“There are two primary choices in life; to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.”
–Denis Waitley

I love that quote.  I get up each day and decide to have a wonderful day.  No matter what the world throws at me, it’s my reaction to stuff,  that will make or break my day.  I can’t change big junk, like the way our politicians behave, but I can choose how I participate in (or react to) the things that directly affect my immediate world.  I choose to be happy!   I’m deciding to wiggle my butt today.  😀

I used a distorted graph to make this pink longhorn.  I thought it would be a fun way to start our Mondays.  🙂

The photo is from KreativeKay at WetCanvas.

Does that Longhorn have mad cow disease? Loved your pink longhorn with Picasso like eyes.

And I loved your quote and comment today. Very inspirational. It took me a long time to realize that it’s my reaction to stuff that makes the difference. (Or my non-reaction as the case may be.)

Hi Beth! I am in Venice for the summer painting up a storm while my hubby is recording his music with two musicians here. I havent had time to check many blogs, but will do that when I am home with a computer of my own again. Thanks for visiting.

The message you share today is a good one, Beth. Mondays are always the hardest it seems. When I worked at a retail store and Monday was not the first day of my work week, I still didn’t like it due to all the years I had started my work week with Mondauy. The Idea to start everyday happy would take care of that. Your cow? Ha! That’s me every morning!
Have a great day and thankyou for helping to start mine on the happy note! 🙂

YAY!! Start them all happy and it won’t matter if it’s Monday or not. I like Mondays, but then I’m lucky enough to enjoy my job. Of course, I’m also a morning person…. so the cow is what I look like at 10 pm. he he Thanks for your comment, Leslie! 🙂
