Striped Leaf in Watercolor

“You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”

Striped Leaf  in Watercolor

I had a friend who used to collect striped rocks.  Then he went through a phase where he collected rocks with holes in them.  There were more collections, but I can’t remember what they were.  The flower garden in front of his home had different sections with the various themed rocks.  It was actually pretty cool!  🙂

About Mahatma Gandhi

Mohandas Gandhi, known by the honorific title Mahatma (“great souled”), embodied the power of nonviolent protest to achieve great change. He was born in India in 1896 and awoke to discrimination while practicing law in South Africa. He brought the struggle for equality back to India, rousing the population to demand self-rule from the British. He was profoundly religious, spending one day a week in complete silence; he was also a devout vegetarian. He was assassinated in 1948.

Yes, I’m watching the Madness! However, I am not predicting any outcomes. The teams that are left have grit and determination so it is anyone’s guess who will get to cut down the nets.

How’s the art licensing? Are you submitting any work? Hope so…got to keep pressing on.

    Have a great week.

I haven’t been submitting anything. The sign shop and studying for final pilot tests have me covered up. I will though. 🙂 You have a great week, too!

What an interesting story about your friend, Beth. It balances really well with the Gandhi statement, today. Makes me ponder the diversity of all things, for some reason. Thanks for that and your beautiful striped leaf!

Thanks, Leslie! I had to go back and read the quote again and you are right. I love when things make my brain whirl in different directions, don’t you? 🙂
