Fantasy Fish III

Fantasy Fish III

Watercolor, Inktense & Ink

This is the third in my series of four.  They were so fun.   I see more of these in my future, only different.

My work computer grabbed it’s throat, coughed, spun around and died yesterday.  I am hoping it is just electrical and can be saved.  The computer doc is coming this morning.  Please have good thoughts for the patient, as I am not ready to deal with lost data.  Until then, I’ll be off-line during the day.  (I’m sending this from home this morning.)  🙂

About Pat Riley

Legendary American sports coach Pat Riley, the three-time NBA Coach of the Year, was drafted by both NBA and NFL teamswhen he graduated from college. He was born in 1945 in New York. He played with the LA Lakers on their championship-winning 1972 team and retired in 1976, becoming an assistant coach to the same team in 1980. The 1981–82 season began badly, so management fired his boss and promoted Riley, who took the Lakers to the first of their four championships under his guidance. In 1995, Riley resigned from the Knicks and became the head coach of the Miami Heat, advancing the team to the finals for the first time in francise history. He stepped down as head coach in 2008, but still serves as President of the team.

Hmmm, I see a pink flamingo peeking out …where have I seen that before? Great and I love they way you integrate elements that have worked well for you before!

What a wonderful series of fantasy fish! Where on earth do you get the ideas for your drawings? What inspires you with the things you create? My brain goes stagnant at times to a point where nothing appeals to my artistic being. 🙂 Then I get a sudden rush where I’m overwhelmed with ideas and can’t draw them fast enough!

    Awesome work Beth!

Wow! Thanks so much, Debby! I really don’t know where the ideas come from, but I’m glad they do. I love those times when the inspiration rushes in. 🙂

Oh Beth, these turned out so amazingly well!! I can’t decide which one that I like the best, and neither can my son. He has decided that he wants to buy all three of them, but seeing that he’s only 3, that may prove a bit difficult for him to manage! 🙂 But all kidding aside, these are wonderful pieces and I would definitely like to see more in this vein.

Oh Beth, so sorry about your work computer. I will have good thoughts for the patient, and keep you and the situation in my prayers today. I hope only the best results for the computer. Stay positive, as you always seem to.
I love the fish; all the colors just pop right out at me and brighten my day!

Thanks so much, Debbie! It turns out that my windows operating system somehow got damaged and we’re having to empty the hard drive and reinstall Windows XP Pro. Then I can spend the next few days reinstalling all of my other programs. Fortunately, I save art and sign jobs to a secondary hard drive. I also subscribe to an AT&T online backup system, so should be able to recover my lost data. I hope!!! 😀
