Marv, the Alpaca Wool Salesman

“Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.”

Marv, the Alpaca Wool Salesman

4″ x 7.5″ Watercolor

Marv is the greatest alpaca wool salesman for miles!  He does have a little proplem with poor dental habits, so suffers from a little bad breath.  There are rumors floating about that he wears a toupee, too!  🙂

My friend Mary,  in Ohio, has kids who raise alpacas, so Marv has gone to live with them.  Maybe they can help him with his bad breath problem.

The reference photo was from Crystalline174 at WetCanvas.  This painting was inspired by the alpaca’s teeth.  I know…. I’m weird!  *big grin*

Does he remind anyone of Herb on the old television series WKRP in Cincinnati?  🙂

Haha, love him! He does look like a salesman. Is it the tie and mustache? So funny, thanks for the link. Clearly I need to go through your whole blog. But who has enough time in the day!

Thanks, Cindy! I just had to share it with you. (Nobody has time to go through everybody’s blog. Life is busy.) I just thought you’d get a giggle. We have so much in common that way. Thanks for coming by to tell me you liked him.

I laughed out loud when I saw Marv! Then I went and looked at the reference photo and marvelled at how you took that picture and made it your own with your special Beth touch. Amazing. And wonderful.

Thanks so much, Carol! How nice! It was his teeth that got me. I am tickled that he went to live with alpaca people. If he makes them giggle from time to time, I’ll be happy! 🙂
