Bunuel’s Tattoo

“Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.”
– Gilda Radner

Over at WetCanvas this weekend, Harry challenged us to do something with this design.

Sure….. I have no problem with that.  First, meet Bunuel.  🙂

And then, see the results of my challenge.  This was so much fun!!

It’s 8″ x 10″ All Watercolor.

About Gilda Radner

The endearingly goofy American comedian Gilda Radner was the first actor cast on “Saturday Night Live” and stayed with the show for six years, creating such beloved characters as Baba Wawa, Emily Litella, and Rosanne Rosannadanna. She was born in Detroit in 1946. After she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the late 1980’s, she wrote “It’s Always Something,” a book about her experiences. Her widower, Gene Wilder, founded the “Gilda’s Club” national support group after her death in 1989.

Beth, you are awesome. In a million years I would have never been able to come up with something to do with that design, but you did and used it for a tattoo for your doggie. Very, very, creative!

Gilda was an amazing talent, my wife’s name is Jane, and when dating her Gilda was a big part of SNL. Her one comment to Jane Curtin was “Jane you ignorant slut” so every once in while jokingly of course I have to use that quote on my wife, and yes we did just celebrate our 25th, and yes she puts up with a lot of crap from me. LOL
A south pacific dog… very cool!

I’m glad you like the dog, Ryan! I also really enjoyed Gilda in her SNL haydays. Oh, and what marriage doesn’t have it’s little inside jokes? Mine certainly does. 🙂
