2.5″ x 3.5″ Gouache on Art Spectrum Colourfix

I did this study for the Masters exchange I was in with WetCanvas.  When you look at a photograph of the original, it looks so easy, but that is so deceptive.  I did another Picasso ATC during that swap.

    Picasso is someone I was not interested in before I began to create and draw and then paint. Now? He and Van Gogh are two artists whose works I love to look at for everything “telling”. in them. Nice paintings, Beth!

      Thanks, Leslie! Having never been to art school, I learned a lot during this trade. I became fascinated with Edward Hopper & George Seurat. I had never actually studied any of their paintings until then. It was fascinating!
