Fresh Water Delivery – 5″ x 7″ Watercolor & Ink
The week’s word from Illustration Friday is water.
I painted this little painting from a photo of a Country Store delivery truck by goody4u at WetCanvas. The background and buildings were from the mind of Beth, so it must be Bethville. I had a lot of fun with this!
Agnes Repplier (April 1, 1855 – November 15, 1950) was an American essayist born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her essays are esteemed for their scholarship and wit.

Bethville is a colourful town were old fashioned delivery truck drivers know all their customers and wave at the kids at the playgrounds.
It is lunchtime now at Bethville and all the people stop driving and working. They gather in the park (just left of this picture). Melvin brings a few bottles of fresh water to the scene and all inhabitants of Bethvillel enjoy their lovely, lazy lunch.
I love that! You can be Bethville’s Public Relations Officer, Paula! What a lovely image you have created. Thanks!
Love this! (Geez, do all my comments start this way?) Another wonderful old-fashioned truck and I love those contrasting window frames. Lovely calligraphy too!
