Steel Daffodils – 8″ x 10″ Watercolor and Sharpie
This is another sock monkey Eufaula building portrait. Steel Daffodils is owned by Tammy & Helen, two of the sweetest ladies you ever want to meet. It’s a wonderful store! Our little sock monkey is enjoying one of their wonderful coffees.
I couldn’t find anything at all on H.T. Leslie. This quote came from the book, Our Best Days. A daily meditation book for adolescents, Our Best Days offers support on issues such as responsibility, family members, peer pressure, and relationships.

I also have a new favorite. The idea of the sock monkey hanging out is awesome and what a neat character to carry through a series.
Thanks, Leslie. It’s been fun to do. I’m working on the third one now.
Love this! Another favorite! I love the streetlights adding their color, the detail at the front and all the great windows. Another cute sock puppet monkey, so funny! Also – 8×10, another huge one! How long does an 8×10 take you? Mine are usually two evenings with mostly sketching the first day.
(Come visit my Shoebill! I don’t know if you get my emails but they are currently broken!)
Thanks, Cindy! I have not been very good at answering comments lately. Life is sometimes such a whirlwind!
